SeAscape’s Befriending Service is open to all residents of South Ayrshire who are over 16 years of age and aims to help them make new friends and feel more settled in their homes and less isolated.
There are three parts to the service,
One to one befriending
Trained Volunteer / befriender who will meet you on a one to one basis for a few hours, once a week. This can be to meet up for a coffee and chat or to take up a hobby or interest.
More like a coffee morning type scenario where volunteers and befriendees meet up weekly on a social occasion or occasional day trip. This service has also expanded into more remote areas of South Ayrshire like Troon / Girvan as well as our main group in Ayr. We also run a much smaller more exclusive our once a week peer befriending service in the local snooker hall. (referral only)
(coming soon autumn 2017)
